This Sunday we meet in Ballyhenry for our morning and evening services at 11am and 7pm. Our services this week will be taken by our Pastoral Assistant Rev Ronnie Hetherington. 

Our 11am gathering will include a supervised creche, full children's provision and teenage Bible Class. Members of our Praise Group will be involved in leading at both servcices. Do be encouraged to join with us and if you are visiting we trust you will feel especially welcome.

This Sunday morning at 11am we have our annual CE Service This is always a really appreciated Sunday when children from our Christian Endeavour Group (and the Ballyhenry Puppets!) will be leading the service. The service will be suitable for folks of all ages, and includes a supervised creche.

At 7pm Niall is due to speak on the next part in our series on 2 Timothy. This week our title is 'Servant Leadership' looking together at 2 Timothy 2 vs 14-26. (There is also a prayertime at 6.30pm).

Our morning service includes praise, prayer and a Bible talk. This week we come to the next part in a series looking at the life of King Solomon, one of main characters in the Old Testament part of the Bible. We'll be in 1 Kings chapters 5-8 - Solomon building the temple of the Lord.

So what is with the reptile picture? Well ... on Sunday morning we come to the next part in our series on the life of King Solomon, in a talk entitled The King and His Kingdom. In 1 Kings 4 we find a picture of Solomon as a man who had a great appetite for learning and a great breadth of knowldge. 1 Kings 4:33 notes that his interestes included: 'animals and birds, reptiles and fish'.

This Sunday is our annual Tearfund Sunday in Ballyhenry. We meet at 11am when Ruth Koch, the new Tearfund Director for NI, will be our guest speaker. We very much look forward to welcoming Ruth on this her first visit to Ballyhenry, when she will be helping us to understand more about Tearfund's work around the world.

The service is followed by lunch when everyone is encouraged to stay behind and share in freindship and fellowship.
