Living beside the busiest roundabout in Northern Ireland gives plenty of opportunity for watching the world go by. Sandyknowes Blog is the personal blog of Niall Lockhart (minister of Ballyhenry). Pull in and have a read…

This Sunday we meet in Ballyhenry for our morning service at 11am and at 7pm for our evening service.

At 11am we welcome as our guest speaker Lorna Moore. Lorna works full time among students as NW Regional Staff Worker for the organisation CUi (Christian Unions Ireland). Lorna is a former member of Ballyhenry and we have a longstanding partnership with her in the work that she does. Lorna will be updating us, and sharing something of the vision of her work. She will also be joined on Sunday by Grace Lee, a 'CUi Relay Worker' in the North West Region.

This Sunday we meet in Ballyhenry for our morning gathering at 11am. This week we follow on from the events of the first Easter, exploring a face to face encounter between Jesus and one of his disciples called Thomas. Opening up John 20:24-31 we hope to unpack the connection, in John's Gospel, between seeing and believing.

Our morning service will include a full children's provision (primary age), supervised creche and teenage Bible Class.

This Sunday (8th April) we meet for worship in Ballyhenry at 11am and 7pm.

Our 11am service will have a supervised creche and children's provision (for children of primary school age).

There will be a prayer time at 6.30pm prior to our 7pm service.

This Sunday we welcome Mr David Morrison as our guest speaker at both services. David is a student at Union Colllege. David has been with us before and we look forward to him being with us.

Easter is a very precious time for Christians around the world. This weekend we meet in Ballyhenry for our Good Friday Communion (8pm), on Easter Day for our Morning Celebration (11am), and then for a more reflective service on Sunday evening at 7pm.

Our Praise Group will be leading us in special music throughout the weekend.

Our 11am service on Sunday includes children's provision and a supervised creche,

If you are thinking of visiting with us over the weekend do be assured of a very warm welcome as we worship our crucified and risen Lord.

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, the day when we remember Jesus' arrival into the city of Jerusalem at the beginning of Easter week.

We meet for our morning service at 11am when our theme will be 'Easter in Three Words'. Our Praise Group will be leading our music and there will be a supervised creche / children's provision and teenage Bible Class as usual.

After the service this week we have a short 'Annual Congregational Meeting'.
