The Bible in One Year is a resource which gives you a section of the Bible to read each day, along with some notes that will help explain what you have been reading. This material is written by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel, who are associated with the popular Alpha Course. The Bible in One Year can be accessed from a PC or can also be downloaded as a free app from Google Play (for Android) and from the Apple App-Store.
Explore is a series of daily Bible readings produced by a team of writers on behalf of the Good Book Company. This app based resource is available from both Google Play and the Apple App Store. The basic app (which includes 28 days of Bible readings) is free and dated Bible reading notes can be purchased at a very reasonable price.
