Thinking about Communicant Membership?

Thinking about Communicant Membership?

This Sunday afternoon (Sun 16th Oct) we will be holding a communicants’ class in preparation for our next Communion Service (20th Nov). This group will meet in the Manse.

So … who is this for, and is it for you?

Over the last number of years a whole variety of people have come along to our communicants’ classes.

  • Some people who do not yet have a personal Christian faith (or aren’t sure) have come along to find out more about what it means to be a Christian.
  • Some who have been Christians for a long time, but aren’t communicants, have welcomed the opportunity to learn more about why taking communion is a good and important thing for Christian people to do.
  • Others who are Christians, and have started attending Ballyhenry recently, have wanted to find out what is involved in becoming a full member (known as a communicant member) here in Ballyhenry.
  • People from a real mixture of backgrounds have found these classes helpful. We have had folks in their mid/late teens, a number of people in their 80s and lots of people in between!

Attending this group does not commit you to anything. If you’ve any questions or need directions contact Niall on: minister@ballyhenry.org You will be really welcome!
