Thinking about Communicant Membership

Thinking about Communicant Membership

On Sunday 18th October we will be holding a communicants’ class in preparation for our next Communion Service (15th November).

So … who is this for, and is it for you?

Over the last number of years a whole variety of people have come along to our communicants’ classes.

Some people who do not yet have a personal Christian faith (or aren’t sure) have come along to find out more about what it means to be a Christian.

Some who have been Christians for a long time, but aren’t communicants, have welcomed the opportunity to learn more about why taking communion is a good and important thing for Christian people to do.

Others who are Christians, and have started attending Ballyhenry recently, have wanted to find out what is involved in becoming a full member (known as a communicant member) here in Ballyhenry.

People from a real mixture of backgrounds have found these classes helpful. We have had folks in their mid/late teens, a number of people in their 80s and lots of people in between!

If you would like to join us next Sunday afternoon, contact Niall during the week on minister@ballyhenry.org
