This Sunday - 6th December

This weekend we celebrate the second Sunday in advent and as such we will be lighting the second candle on our 'Advent Crown' as our countdown to Christmas continues. In our Bible talk this Sunday (11am) we come near to the end of Paul's letter to the Philippians, looking at Philippians 4 vs 4 - 9.

As you prepare for Sunday morning you might like to reflect upon the invitation and the promise found at the heart of verses 6-7:

'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.'

As usual we have a supervised creche and full children's provision at our 11am service.

Then at 7pm (Prayertime at 6.30pm)  we meet for our evening service, where we will be reflecting on 'Mary's Song' (Luke 1 vs 46-55) and having a short interview with our very own Bob Ferguson. Niall is due to speak at both services this Sunday.
