This Sunday - 3rd September

This Sunday - 3rd September

Corinth was a busy cosmopolitan city in the first century Roman Empire - a melting pot of different cultures, religions and languages. It was to this city that Paul took the gospel. It wasn't easy but he saw people from different backgrounds becoming Christians and a church began to grow. It was to this church, in this city, that around 3 years years later Paul sat down to write a letter, that we now know as 1 Corinthians.

This term we hope to work our way through 1 Corinthians exploring what it means to live as 'Everyday Disciples' in the places where God has called us. This Sunday (11am) we begin our series, looking at 1 Corinthians 1 vs 1-9. Our service will include 'Storykeepers' (the final instalment of our Summer Sunday School programme) and a supervised creche. Praise Group will be leading and Niall is due to preach.

At 7pm we meet for September's Prayer Central. We really value this opprtunity to gather as a church and to seek the Lord and His blessing for the month and term ahead.

Do join with us!
