This Sunday - 3rd May

This Sunday we gather for our morning service at 11am. Laura and the Praise Group will be leading the praise and Niall will be speaking on the topic 'Church - How it Works (Part 2)' This topic ties in with our upcoming election of a new committee (scheduled for early June). We will be going back to the book of Exodus (35:30 - 36:7) and seeing how God gave practical skills and gifts to two men (Bezalel and Oholiab) to enable work to be done on the Tabernacle. In this talk we hope to explore how while no-one is good at everything God does give us people who can take responsibility for property, finance and administration in the life of the church.

Then at 7pm (prayertime at 6.30pm) Mark will be speaking on Revelation 2:12-17; Jesus' letter to the church in Pergamum. (We will be returning to look at the letter to the church in Smyrna later in the month).

At both services we will be hearing updates from the unfolding situation in Nepal. This will include news of a PCI wide 'Moderator's Appeal' and also news of PCI mission personnel currently serving on the ground in Nepal. Do pray at this time for our mission partners; Peter and Valerie Lockwood (from First Bangor Presbyterian) and Stephen and Laura Coulter (from Kirkpatrick Memorial in East Belfast). Pray that they will be given wisdom and strength as they seek to play their part in bringing help and comfort to the Nepaleese people in a situation of utter devastation.
