This Sunday - 2nd October

Following on from last week's service of thanksgiving and rededication we meet in Ballyhenry this Sunday at 11am and 7pm.

At 11am we reconnect with our series on the book of James. We will be looking at James 2 vs 1-26. In that chapter James imagines a situation where a wealthy Roman citizen and a poor man turn up to church. James applies the principles of the gospel to show how following Jesus leads us into a radical reassessment of the worth and value of each individual. Such reassessments become an example of a 'faith that works'. Niall is due to lead our service with the Praise Group also in action. As usual we have our supervised creche, full children's provision and teenage Bible Class.

Then at 7pm we meet for October's Prayer Central. Last Sunday when Dr John Dixon was with us he encouraged us to genuinely put prayer at the centre of our life together in our renewed Ballyhenry. Do be encouraged to take this opportunity and to gather at the beginning of another month as we seek to fix our eyes on the Lord seated on His throne.
