This Sunday morning we meet for morning worship in Ballyhenry at 11am. We will be looking at the next part in our series on John's Gospel - John 17 vs 1-26. In these verses we gain a unique insight into Jesus' heart for His disciples and for His Church. In our children's talk we will be focusing on the specific fact that 'Jesus prayed' seeing how that can teach and encourage us today.
Our morning service includes a supervised creche, full children's provision and teenage Bible Class. Our Praise Group will be leading the praise.
At 7pm we meet for April's Prayer Central. Prayer Central gives us as a church opportunity, on a monthly basis, to hit the 'pause' button and to remind ourselves that 'unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain' (a line from Psalm 127).
We will be reflecting on the following line (from a recent missionary prayer letter) as we meet on Sunday evening to pray:
There are times when God answers prayers quietly and we barely notice; sometimes we even forget to give thanks. There are other times when His answer is to wait. Then there are other times when He answers with such a spectacular demonstration of His generosity that the only response is to shout for joy!
Join us on Sunday evening as together we share in the work of prayer, following in the footsteps of Jesus as we bring our prayers to our Heavenly Father.
