This Sunday - 29th November

This Sunday we meet at 11am for our morning service. Niall will be speaking on the theme of 'Standing Firm' looking at Philippians 4 vs 1-3. In this talk we will be exploring how 'friction' was part of church life in Philippi, where two good people (Euodia and Syntyche) struggled to get on. Paul speaks into this situation, not in panic nor in judgment, but in a way that encourages the church to find a common mind in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then at 7pm we welcome Rev Alvin Little for a special evening entitled 'Everyone Hurts Sometime'. Alvin (a minister in Donaghadee) is quoted on his own church website as saying:

'I want this to be a loving church family where bruised and broken people can find hope, help and healing.’

On Sunday evening we look forward to Alvin unpacking this vision, sharing something of his heart and experience and in so doing encouraging us together in Ballyhenry.

Praise Group will be leading at both services and there will be a cup of tea after the evening service. Do pray that God will meet with us on Sunday and do give thought to maybe inviting someone else along (and maybe even coming along with them). As usual there will be a supervised creche and full children's provision at our morning service. There is also a prayertime at 6.30pm.
