This Sunday - 24th January

This Sunday we meet at 11am for our morning service. We come to the third part of our series on David, and this week we will be unpacking the story of David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17). The basics of this story are well known but you might find it helpful to read through the text in advance of Sunday. One of my favourite Christian singers was the late Rich Mullins. In 1987 he recorded a song entitled ‘The Trouble with Giants. You can find a link to the song by clicking here.

The song itself is quite ‘80s-ish’ but it includes this great line about David:

He was smart enough to know
It's more the size of who you put your faith in
Than the size of your foe

As usual our service includes fully supervised creche, children’s provision and teenage Bible Class.

Our evening service is at 7pm when we look at the second part of a series entitled 'A Message Woth Sharing'. Niall is due to be speaking at both of these services.
