This Sunday - 22nd November

This Sunday - 22nd November

One of the phrases which the Bible uses to describe Sunday is 'the Lord's Day' (see Revelation 1 vs 10). This 'Lord's Day' we meet for worship at 11am and also at 7pm. At our morning service we pick up the next part of our series in Philippians - looking at chapter 3 vs 15-21 under the title 'Towards Maturity.' When Jesus becomes our Lord He begins a process of calling us to grow. We'll be thinking about what this means and how this points us to the future as we unpack Paul's words to his friends in Philippi. As usual we have music from our Praise Group, full children's provision, teenage Bible Class and supervised crèche.

Then we're back at 7pm (Prayertime at 6.30pm) for the final part of our series on the Lord's Prayer. Do be encouraged to join with us, with the evening offering a more reflective atmosphere, than the all age energy of our morning gatherings!

Niall is due to speak at both services. Here's a prayer you might like to pray as you prepare yourself for this Lord's Day ...

Father we pray that as we gather You would send Your Holy Spirit that Your Word might do its appointed task of enlightening the eyes, converting the soul, rejoicing the heart. We ask these things in Jesus' Name. Amen.
