This Sunday - 21st June

This Sunday morning (11am) we come to the third in a series of four talks on the theme 'The King and the Kingdom'. This week we are looking at Jesus' parable of the Ten Bridesmaids (found in Matthew 25 vs 1-13). One of the sources I have found helpful in preparing for this has been a book called 'Last Things First'. This book (by Graham Beynon) helps us to see how the return of the Lord Jesus is foundational to what the Bible teaches. The book can be purchased from our on-line Bookstore.

Morning service, as usual, will include supervised creche, summer Sunday School, and teenage Bible Class. Praise will be led by the Praise Group.

At 7pm we meet again (Prayertime at 6.30pm). At our evening service we hope to reflect upon the question 'What is the prospect for Thriving Churches in an Increasingly Hostile Culture.' This is the title of a short three way conversation between Christian leaders Don Carson, John Piper and Tim Keller. This very helpful conversation can be viewed by clicking here.
