This Sunday - 21st August

This Sunday in Ballyhenry we meet for our morning worship service at 11am. We seek to put our services together in a warm and welcoming environment, accessible for those who maybe haven't been to any church for a long time, as well as being 'home' for those who attend regularly.

Looking together at the Bible is a central part to what we do each Sunday. Over the past few weeks we have been looking together at how the theme of 'The Shepherd and the Sheep' runs through the Bible as an illustration of God's relationship with us. This week we see how that metaphor is in many ways suprisingly turned on its head when Jesus is described not just as the 'shepherd' but also as 'the lamb of God'. This week our main passage in focus is Acts 8 vs 26-40.

We look forward to our Praise Group leading on the musical side of things, and as usual there is a supervised creche and full children's provision (called Streetwise).
