This Sunday - 19th January

Here in Ballyhenry we are looking forward to this Sunday when we gather together for worship at 11am. At the moment Sundays see us gathering in our hall (following on from our flood at the end of November). There's a lovely line in the very first book in Genesis, the very first book in the Bible. Jacob is on the move and at at a roadside place called Bethel he wakens after a dream, looks around him, and says 'Surely the LORD is in this place!' (Genesis 28 vs 16). It's a fantastic reminder that where God's people are there He is in their midst. This has been our experience over the past number of weeks and we are thankful for that.

So join us this Sunday when our guest speaker Rev David Bruce will be preaching in the next part of our series in the book of Acts, taking us into Acts 2 and Luke's account of the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the church.
