This Sunday - 18th June

This Sunday morning we meet for our morning service at 11am. We are looking at Acts 5 vs 17-42. In these verses look out for how public opinion begins to shift against the apostles as they share the good news of Jesus in Jerusalem. Pressure rises to the point where they are thrown in jail, and by the beginning of chapter 8 many of the first Christians are forced to flee Jerusalem all together. But in the midst of it all we find a thread running through - the unshakeable promise of Jesus that His disciples will be His witnesses - across the city, across the province, across the border and ultimately to the ends of the earth.

As usual we have our supervised creche, Summer Sunday School and teenage Bible Class. Praise will be led by our Praise Group.

At 7pm (prayer time at 6.30pm) we look forward to welcoming Richard Hill. Richard has recently been accepted to become a student for ministry - this will be his first time visiting us in Ballyhenry.

Do pray that God will meet with us by His Spirit as we gather on Sunday. If you're thinking of visiting (or don't usually come to chuch) do be assured of a warm welcome.
