Prayer Central - Sunday @7pm

Prayer Central - Sunday @7pm

This Sunday (4th) we have our first Prayer Central of the new term, meeting in the main church at 7pm.

Why Prayer Central? The purpose of this monthly gathering is to give us as individuals, and as a group of committed Christians, a time and a space to consciously invite God to be at the centre of our individual lives and at the centre of all that we seek to do in Ballyhenry.

What can I expect? At this gathering there is time for sitting in a larger group, and time for sitting in smaller groups. No-one has to do or say anything – but the focus is on listening to God and acknowledging Him, as we make time to pray together. Many many of our communicant members have no background or experience in doing this type of thing – so we are very much be in ‘learning together’ mode as we meet.

Why should I come along? There’s a verse in 1 Samuel 2 vs 30 that says ‘Those that honour me. I will honour.’ Getting into the way of meeting together each month does not come easily to us. There are always barriers in the way when we try to pray. But I do genuinely believe that if we can honour God by making this space in the midst of our busyness He will honour us as He builds and watches over His people.

Be encouraged to join with us, this Sunday at 7pm.
