North Belfast Presbytery Service

North Belfast Presbytery Service

This Sunday evening (13th March) Ballyhenry will be hosting a special service bringing together churches from across the North Belfast Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. The overall theme of the evening will be Sing a New Song to the LORD. The keynote speaker will be Rev Nigel Craig. Nigel is minister of Ray and Newtowncunningham churches in the Presbytery of Derry and Donegal. Nigel will be sharing something of his own story and experiences of God at work - bringing a message of encouragement and drawing on the opening verses of Isaiah 42.

Lorna Morrison (North West Regional Staff worker with IFES Ireland) will be interviewed opening a window on work among students in the North West.

The service will also include praise led by the Ballyhenry Praise Group and the opportunity to stay afterwards for a cup of tea and a chat. At different points in the Bible we are reminded that good things happen when God's people gather together expectantly in praise and worship around His word. Do be encouraged to come along - and do pray that the LORD will indeed put a new song in our hearts as we meet in His Name.

The service is at 7pm and will include a special offering for Church Planting work in Northern Portugal.
