Community Partnership

Newtownabbey Borough Council are currently highlighting Park Watch, a partnership initiative involving the council, PSNI and the general public within the borough. Partnerships like this are a reminder that working for the public good isn't just the responsibility of one group or organisation, but is something that can bring together lots of different people who care about our community.

It's interesting to open the Bible and to discover that from the very beginning God is a God who invites people to work in partnership with Him. Having placed human beings in His creation God then gave them work to do, to look after and develop all that He had made.

In the ordinary, everyday things of life, it's an amazing thought that the God who has made us has work for us to do, whoever we are, whereever we live.
